It was a perfect day & he winery Bertrand took 7 of us to was a gem. Not crazy about the vino, but the place was so lovely & Bertrand really took his time to explain the wine-making process to us. We all got a bit tipsy as we sipped outside, then on to his home where his wife (i think?) prepared an absolutely wonderful meal for us—5* @ least, & couldn’t visit, tho regret no doggy bag:)) Bertrand treated us to a stop in a beautiful Medieval town which besides being so special helped us walk off some of the calories we ate, then dropped off in centre of MPL, right near where we wer picked up. In our mo. in MPL, most definitely a highlight & well worth it…We were supposed to visit another winery, but unanimously, after 1st one, rose & red wine with lunch, we all agreed: “non!” & happily le Bertrand drive us all back to town.

This tour timing had to be adjusted due to not enough people buying the tour on the day we wished to take it. It worked out perfectly, with only 4 of us on the tour! We did an afternoon drive out of the city to a vineyard. We had the opportunity to walk the vineyard and learn more about the process. We then were given a wine tasting that was fantastic, followed by the opportunity to purchase bottles. After the tasting, we traveled to the tour guide's family b&b for a dinner that surpassed any expectations we may have had. Bertrand's family are gracious hosts, have a beautiful home, and serve fabulous food.

Must do! Very personal experience. Amazing views of the French country side and a delicious home cooked meal. Very beautiful and memorable. Information from the tour was informative and delivered in a great way. Wine was delicious!!!
