This is a picturesque getaway away allowing you to explore the delightful Montpellier countryside. The destination is Pic Saint Loup, a Montpellier highlight, and a terroir of the Languedoc wine region, some 20 km inland from the city. Discover a terroir, visit an estate wineries, meet the winemaker, and taste the wine. You will drive to a quaint and relaxed medieval village. Thereafter, on the way to the family house, you will be served a table meal with produce from the nearby farm, prepared by the mother of the tour guide - an expert cook.

Your experience begins as you meet in Montpellier with your local guide. It will be at this point you will receive a presentation of the excursion itinerary before your departure in an air-conditioned minibus. In a small group, discover the small medieval village of Mourèze and its cirque with other-worldly rock formations. Shortly before lunch time, you will return to the minibus to explore a unique lake which is sure to make an impression on you. Open the door of the enormous open-air cellar and succumb to the scents of plants and spices from all over the world, in the Herboristerie.  Receive a gastronomy and mixology brochure and watch a demonstration of the perfect serve. Learn about the famous dodinage mixing technique while you are seduced by the flavors of wood, herbs, and spices. 

Meet your guide at 14:00 on the Esplanade de l’Europe and take off for a visit of 2 historical châteaux producing wines around Montpellier. You will get to know their story and taste their excellent range of wines. During the tour you will visit château de Flaugergues, a sumptuous bourgeoisie summer house dating back to 17th century, before tasting their excellent range of wines. You will then visit the famous Château Puech Haut, settled in beautiful surroundings in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. You can admire a unique and original exhibition of painted oak barrels You will return to Montpellier around 17:30.

From the Port des Busilles, we follow the Lido beach to the port of Marseillan Plage, we take the Pisse-Saumes canal to enter the Thau pond by its western part. We are going to cross the pond passing through the ports of Marseillan-Ville, Mèze and Bouzigues. Each port has its own charm and its particularities, which will not fail to amaze you. The Thau pond is an essential place in the Occitanie region, with its environmental wealth and its cultural heritage. Then we are going to enter the port of Sète to discover its historic buildings, its typical districts and its colorful houses. While relaxing on the calm waters of the canals, you can enjoy the magnificent landscapes that surround you. On the return we will follow the cornice of Sète, the Théâtre de la Mer and the Anau's cove.

You'll visit an olive oil producer and a wine estate to taste the nectar of the Languedoc region! The tour starts at 9AM from the Esplanade de l'Europe in Montpellier. After a 30-minute drive you'll start by visiting a  family-owned olive farm and its 16th century mill, where the owners have passed down their savoir faire from generation to generation. Treat your taste buds while savoring delicious products such as olives, olive oils, vinegars, and their specialty, la farigoule, brimming with the flavors of the South of France. You will then take off to discover a traditional wine estate and learn everything about the production, vinification and tasting of wine in the Languedoc region with a short wine tasting workshop. Back to Montpellier around 12.30.
