  • Leipzig: 3-Hour Bike Tour

    3. Leipzig: 3-Hour Bike Tour

Take a 3-hour bike tour round the lively city of Leipzig. See where Leipzig's old fairs used to take place, and check out the Old Town Hall that dates back to the Renaissance period. Zip past the zoo in Rosenthal Park; home to giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. In the gorgeous Forest Street Quarter (Waldstraßenviertel) of Leipzig, check out the graceful Jugendstil motifs of leaves, flowers, and women that adorn Leipzig's stately buildings. The impressive industrial architecture of the Buntgarnwerke awaits the visitor at Plagwitz. If you want to see all this and more, a guided 3-hour bike tour of Leipzig is ideal.

    4. Leipzig: Individual Trabi Tour with Guide

Experience a piece of pure nostalgia and discover Leipzig's inner city behind the wheel of a Trabi. Let a professional and entertaining guide lead the way and tell you interesting stories. The tour follows a path past the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, the old fairgrounds, into the southern part of the city, to the Gohliser Schlösschen and the Sportforum. See the city's most beautiful and important sights. The tour can be tailored to your individual interests. Sit at the wheel of a genuine Trabi, one of the most famous symbols of the DDR, and drive down the beautiful and storied streets of Leipzig.

We enjoyed driving through the city and getting to know places and corners of the city with significance background. Driving the car for the first time needs a lot of concentration, so the one driving couldn’t focus much on the tour rather just following instructions on directions and the driving itself. So the tour information would be more for the passengers. But enjoying the drive of course for the driver. The organizers where very friendly and everything from getting the car and delivering it went very smooth.
