Full description

Explore Monument Valley from the comfort of an air-conditioned SUV on this guided tour from Oljato. Drive deep into the red-sand desert and stop for incredible views at look-out points. Choose from a private or a group tour experience.

Be picked up at the View Hotel in Oljato and begin the 1.5-hour drive down switch-back dirt roads. Stop at the Left and Right Mitten Butte rock formation and drive by the Merrick Butte and Elephant and Camel Butte rock formations.

Admire the views at John Ford's Point, a beautiful spot named after the director who used this location to make many major western films. Ride through a beautiful landscape where many ancient natural medicines and remedies can be found.

See a 450-foot, slim-spiraled totem pole which stands before the Yeibichei Dancers kingdom. Finally, go past the North Window, where you can take in some of the best views of the day before returning to your meeting point.

Awesome ! We didn't have the right car to do the tour on our own, as it had rained quite a bit in the morning. So we booked this tour with no regrets. It allows you to learn more about the Navajo culture thanks to our great guide and to learn more about all the stones. I recommend 100%

Great way to discover the Monumet Valley. The tour includes three stops to admire and photograph the most iconic points. Joseph our guide was great, he told us about the history of the valley and the traditions of the Navajo people and took some great pictures for us. Absolutely recommended!

Monument Valley with a Navajo guide is an absolute must! We were the only tourists on this ride so a private tour. Learned a lot about the Navajo culture. The meeting point is no longer in The View hotel (as Get your Guide had stated), but they have made a stop outside. Too bad you can't have lunch at noon at The View. The restaurant is closed and there is nothing else nearby. You can only buy drinks and food in the shop, but that is very limited.
