Your guide for the day will collect you from your hotel, from where you will travel north to the Mossman Gorge visitor center. Upon arrival you'll be welcomed to the country by a Kuku Yalanji traditional owner with a smoking ceremony. Throughout this ceremony, you will learn about the traditional ways of the rainforest people. This experience will be complete with plunger coffee, billy tea, and freshly baked damper for morning tea. Following that, ride the eco-friendly shuttle bus up to the start of the trail. You will begin your guided walk through 3 kilometers of easy-grade walking tracks, with plenty of time for a swim along the way. Alternatively, you can enjoy sitting next to the river surrounded by rainforest. You'll then take the shuttle bus back down to the visitor center, where lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you'll travel to a secret location on the Mossman River. There you'll be outfitted with a wetsuit and snorkeling gear, wetsuit shoes, and a snorkeling mask. Start with pickup from your accomodation in Carins at 7:30 AM. Begin a journey heading North along the Great Barrier Reef Drive with beautiful coastal views of the Coral Sea. Upon arrival at the park embark on a Daintree River wildlife cruise.
