You can choose to taste locally made ice cream, at your own cost, and prepare for a photo opportunity at the Alexandra Range Lookout, which provides sweeping views over the Daintree River, its rainforest delta, and out to the Coral Sea. In the afternoon, experience a wildlife cruise on the river (if option selected). During the cruise, you may see a crocodile, while learning about the fragile ecosystem of this impressive serpent-like river system. Rain in the rainforest, no surprise there but being wet all day on a bus can put a little damper on things. Our guide, Mark, did a good job providing lots of interesting information about the wildlife, history, and culture of the area. Please realize that this trip is fast-paced, not in-depth. Mark said that right up front so no complaint about it, but if I had it to do over I might pick a version that did fewer sites (Cape Tribulation wasn't worth the time to me).

The tour was amazing. Very long but so interesting. We’ve seen a lot and we’ve been in many places. Our tour guide Josh was very knowledgeable and he was a great driverour group was big but well behaved. Awesome experience with river cruise when you can spot some crocodiles. Well organised. Definitely will recommend to others! Don’t forget about spray against mosquitos and other small monsters

Went solo and had a blast, thanks to tour guide Carl's great energy and knowledge. This trip has a good amount of time spent on the bus, but in order to see the main highlights of Daintree, that's what you have to do. Would definitely recommend.

A really good way to see a lot of things in a day. Stew was our guide. A really funny guy, putting his heart in his work and knowing a lot of things about the places we visit and the things we saw. Thank you very much!

Great tour Daniel was very knowledgeable of the area. Food was great too
