Full description
After you make your way to the island of Murano you’ll meet a tour provider’s representative at the Murano Faro boat station and head off on this 40-minute Murano glass experience. After a short walk you’ll reach the glass factory where a glass master will be waiting for you. A factory guide will welcome you and explain about the processes involved in glass production. The master will create an object using the blowing technique. Then, during a sculpture technique demonstration you will see how glass animals are made. The visit will continue in the shop/gallery where you can admire products made in the glass factory, including chandeliers, sculptures and an array of jewelry. It takes on a whole new dimension to see how these glasses are made. However, the prices outside are illusory. 300€ a glass, the person tells us directly that she is giving us a 50% reduction, which makes a glass at 150€... But we have the impression that the base price of the glass was already of this order. Thus, we have the feeling of getting a "good deal" while the base price was just unjustified...

There was a choice: a small tour with 20 minutes or a large one with 40 minutes... we had booked the large one but probably received the small one... it was not written anywhere what was included and was not checked on site which ticket you had or whether you even have one..we had a great glass blowing demonstration and then we were allowed to roam around the exhibition indefinitely, which is also a sales room, meaning you could buy everything there. After the demonstration, another Guido suddenly came in (female) to take people with him to a jewelery making show or similar... we weren't allowed to come here and we're still asking ourselves, since our glass blowing experience didn't last 40 minutes, if we could do the other one could not have visited with our ticket..

Beautiful experience. The children were fascinated by the glass processing. In addition, the cost was deducted in the shop upon the purchase of glass objects (Eg. We purchased a total of € 30 and being 2 adults they discounted us € 20. We thus paid only € 10 for the items purchased at the shop near the foundry)
