Fun experience with super guide Julia

A great way to see the city! You do need to be a confident and assertive cyclist as you will be weaving around traffic, but the cars are very courteous (mopeds less so!) Having said that our guide did everything to look after us and showed us best routes. A fun way to learn about the city and get better orientation of the major sights so you better know which to visit when on your own - Julia our Guide was fun and full of energy - she loved being quizzed on everything so don’t be shy in asking. Also there was time to pause for a little bartering in the old town where she helped negotiate some bargains for us! And impromptu fruit shopping - a really can do lady :) In my ratings below I only marked 3/5 for value for money because I paid 3 times as much for the trip than other people in the group. Otherwise all super and I would do it again when I come back with my husband

This was an excellent tour with a great guide May. She spoke really good English and provided insight into the history of the areas we covered. We travelled through the three historical areas in Shanghai. The French, British and Japanese concessions. This is a long bike tour covering around 17 miles, but it is worth it. May even accommodated my dietary preferences by finding a local halal restaurant. If you are looking for a tour that will give you great ideas on where to go and what to see in Shanghai, highly recommend.

Fantastic and authentic experience

The only suggestion I would make is to let people know that the meeting point is quite a distance from central Shanghai. This was very disappointing I do lots of bike tours around the world in big cities. I feel you would get more people sign up if there was a more central meeting place

Our guide May was very friendly and funny. She was able to cater to all needs in the group, and made it a fun and exiting day for everyone.

The instructor was excellent and very interesting

The food was very tasty and we see many interesting things because the guide is very good
