Full description

Begin your day with pickup from select Naples hotels, the Naples train station, or your cruise ship terminal. Head to the harbor, where you'll board a hydrofoil boat. Glide across the blue waters on the 40-minute journey to Capri.

Transfer from the boat to an air-conditioned vehicle and drive to the scenic town of Anacapri and have an hour of free time to explore. Get suggestions on what to see and during your free time from your guide.

Purchase a boat to the famed Blue Grotto, or travel to the top of Monte Solare via chairlift for panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. Spend your free time strolling the Villa San Michele, which built on ancient ruins.

Reunite with your guide at a local restaurant for a traditional 3-course lunch. Stretch your legs afterward with a guided walk to the Gardens of Augustus, where you'll spot the Faraglioni rock formations and admire view of the Mediterranean Sea.

After a full day of sightseeing, your trip will conclude with transportation back to Naples port where a driver will be waiting for you in order to take you to your hotel.

Overall, the trip was very nice and you had enough time to be on your own and to take the wooden chairlift up, which unfortunately was not included in the price. The food was average - I would have liked to have had that as an option. So overall I felt the price was a bit high. But I don't regret the trip. The tour guide was pleasant and always expressed himself very clearly.

Amazing Trip!! Capri and Anacapri trip from Naples can be overwhelming. It is possible to do it on your own but if you have short time or here on a peak season or during weekends, it can get extremely crowded and you might end up taking half your time figuring out the tickets and queue for boats from Naples to Capri and to go around Capri as well. It's a very well organised tour. I hate tours where the guide gives you too much of information to process and less time around. This one was perfect, we had enough time in each location o go around and try activities for instance. Lunch was decent (If you are a vegetarian like me, you will still have an option or two to eat for lunch). Coming to the Blue grotto part - I was there during an extremely crowded long weekend, I had an option to take a boat and spend my day queueing for Blue grotto or take a private boat and have a short trip to the Love rock and more time on the island with breathtaking views, I chose the second.

Very well organized trip. From the departure by minibus to next to our accommodation, via the ferry and the proposals on site. Our guide Domenico was great and did everything to make it go well! The downside is the number of tourists in Capri - between 8,000 and 10,000 a day - it's suffocating, it's teeming with people everywhere and the timing is tight too. In short, if mass tourism is not scaring us and you want to discover Capri at all costs, go for it! The price is also quite high. It is also good to add a boat trip (20 euros) and the cable car to Anacapri (12 euros). The excursion is very expensive...
