Enjoy a half-day tour of Vesuvius, driving along a scenic route past black ash and lava rocks. The 6-hour tour takes you from Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast to the rim of the volcano crater, where you can capture stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and beyond. After your exhilarating climb, wind your way back down to visit a wine farm, located at the foot of the mountain. Stroll through the vineyards and learn about the winemaking process. Then, sit down to a leisurely lunch of bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, local cheese and salami, spaghetti with fresh tomatoes, and typical Neapolitan pastiera pie, served with grappa liquor. Compliment your local meal with a tasting of 3 wines from the farm’s own cellars. Sip on a white, a red, and a rosé, and savor the unique flavors produced by the mineral rich volcanic soil.

Brilliant guide. We enjoyed the Vesuvius walk and transport was very organised. The vineyard was nice and the lunch was fresh and tasty, they also catered for vegetarians well. However I wouldn't quite call it wine tasting as we weren't told about the wines as we tried them. There was no tour of the vines. There was a quick visit to the cellar at the end which was nice but a bit rushed. A nice day but if you are passionate about wine tasting you might be a bit disappointed. Lucy

Tour was great. Lunch was delicious. Trip was 8.5 hours, rather than the 6 that was stated. Spent an unnecessary hour at the end of the trip driving around the hills of Sorrento dropping people off at their individual hotels. A complete waste of time. Disappointing end to a good day

Our guide Sandra was absolutely amazing, and had a really good and fun way of telling things. The trip to Mount Vesuvius is not that 'just straight', and it takes an ok form to go the trip up there.
