From the moment we met Carolyn and Jonathan they were great. We even had a party in our group who didn’t speak English very well and Jonathan would do quick translations for them. Tour was great very insightful of life in Haarlem The actual service was something else that I will never forget.

Excellent tour, worth the price. Clear story of Harlem through NYC history. Very personable, knowledgeable guide. He was multi-lingual, but our tour was in English. Fascinating that of 8 on tour, 2 of us from USA (Georgia and SC), couple from Paris, couple from Amsterdam, and two individuals from Australia! Church was a real experience and we were warmly welcomed. End, for brunch, was in superb small restaurant and we were permitted open selection from regular menu. Mine was waffle with real whipped cream, fresh fruit, bacon, and coffee. A fully rounded tour. Creator, owner joined us at restaurant. I visit NYC about twice a year and recommend this tour.

Got this trip as a gift and would do it again in a heartbeat. We had an amazing time with Caroline and Jonathan as our tourguides. A lot of people on the street kept telling us that she was the best tourguide and she definitely was. Caroline was very funny and had a lot of knowledge about Harlem. Jonathan was the sweetest. He remembered all of our names immediately and was very helpful with translating, taking pictures and finding lost items. The service was amazing, it was very hard to sit still! Afterwards we had a great brunch and even a little birthday party for one of the children of the group. Like Caroline said, next time, we're staying in Harlem!
