Our tour guide was Claire. She made the day great with her grasp of all of the historical aspects of New York City and it’s iconic landmarks. She did a very good job of offering interesting facts and trivia about landmarks such as the Empire State building and it’s construction, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which we were able to visit inside and I even lit a candle there; and points about the 911 Memorial and the trade center and all that has transpired since the time of the bombings. She taught us how to ride the trains in the subway station at Grand Central Station — there’s so much to tell but Claire is one of the best tour guides I’ve experienced. She’s kind and patient and I cannot state it enough. Claire really made me feel that I received far more bang for my buck. The tour fee is definitely worth it. I love the amount of exercise that I got walking, taking the train or riding the ferry to Staten Island and back again.
Claire was amazing! She is knowledgeable, funny, and you can tell she's very passionate about what she does. Pickup location was very easy to find. She was extremely helpful in explaining the subway system and made sure we knew exactly where we could catch our way back. I could have done without the observatory, but that's just my opinion of the experience there and not about the tour. Thank you so much Claire!!
Jenn Andres was a fantastic guide! Lots of great info, good pace for the day, and great energy throughout. We had a range of ages from 11 to 47 and all were very happy. Highly recommend!
Jane was great!!! loved the tour she knew where she was going and did help us get a metro card. Over all do recommend to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. loved it
Charming, nicely paced, and lots of information - especially if you're into movie history.
