Full description
Begin your cross-border Niagara Falls with pick up directly from your hotel. The first half of your tour will take place in the USA. Then, start the day with a visit to one of the most iconic attractions in Niagara Falls - a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist. While on board, be treated to an amazing view, hear the thunderous roars of the rushing waterfalls and feel the mist on your skin - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a rain poncho for this boat ride. Also, have an opportunity to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower which extends out past the gorge and has an amazing panoramic viewpoint for all 3 Niagara Falls. After the boat ride, head over to Cave of the Winds where you will descend 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck”. If you venture all the way to the hurricane deck, you can expect to get wet and really feel the wind coming off the Bridal Veil Falls - since you’ll be only a few feet away! Next, your guide will take you to Goat Island and Luna Island for some amazing views of the Falls and some fun facts about the area before heading to Canada for the 2nd half of your tour. Your first stop on the Canadian side of the Falls will be a break for lunch at Skylon Tower where you will head up a glass elevator to the restaurant which provides an incredible birds-eye view of the Falls to gaze upon while you eat. After lunch, you can take the elevator up to the observation deck area to get a 360-degree view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. Once you get back on the ground, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of the area passing multiple points of interest including the Dufferin Islands, the International Control Dam, and Old Scow before heading to your next stop at Journey Behind the Falls. At Journey Behind the Falls, descend 125 feet (approximately 40m) to explore cave-like tunnels. This experience is a treat for the senses as you’ll be able to not only hear the falls but feel them as well. The tunnels lead to 2 observation decks, giving you the perfect photo opportunity. For the final portion of your tour, your guide will take you to view the Niagara Whirlpool for another incredible photo opportunity. At the end of your Niagara Falls tour, your guide will drop you off back at your hotel.

Despite our original guide becoming ill and our having to share a second guide and then getting a third guide, the day went well. We spent too long at several locations and rushed through others. Again, unusual circumstances. The lunch staff at Skylon Tower was fairly brusque and rude and the meal was very late- around 2:30; rudeness was not your company’s fault. Overall, it was a tremendous way to see most of the highlights of Niagara Falls. I would recommend this tour to someone else.

Amazing day, would definitely recommend. Our tour guide Dana was the best, she was very knowledgeable and really friendly. She even gave us tips on where to stand on maid of the mist to make sure we got the best views of the falls. Nothing was too much of a hassle for her. I would go again in heartbeat and request Dana again.

Looking through all the must-do activities near Niagara, I started to get FOMO. Booking this tour meant we would hit a lot of them, and we could just relax and let someone else do the driving, ticket management and more. it also allowed my type A husband to relax control. We loved that it was limited to a small amount of people. The guide was sweet and helpful.
