After the meeting point (quite simply in Nicosia directly after the border crossing in the old town) was agreed, we could start. During the trip, Cem first told a lot of interesting things about Cyprus and the division. First to the St. Barnabas monastery (quite nice, but not much different from other older monasteries) and here again interesting information about the origin. Then to Salamis (old Romans) - also quite nice. Then to visit the ghost town. Really strange atmosphere in such a large, completely empty and slowly decaying city (unique experience and difficult to describe). Finally Famagusta there the mosque (converted former church), on the city wall and free time to eat (good recommendation) and sightseeing on your own. Great day trip!

Our guide Sirin was amazing. She was a wealth of knowledge and very friendly. She was able to answer all of our questions about the history and current events in Cyprus. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and definitely recommend it to anyone in Cyprus.
