What people are saying about Northeastern Region, Iceland

A fantastic tour! Fiancée and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Pick up was fairly straightforward (from Bus Stop 1), thereafter stopped at a gas station where we were transferred onto a smaller bus. Our guide and driver, Howser, was excellent and made the whole day engaging and fun. He clearly knows his stuff, his passion for Iceland shines through and all delivered with a good sense of humour. Tomato farm and horses was a nice way to break up the day. Our stops were fairly short at ~35mins each (longer for lunch at the farm); but necessary given short daylight hours in winter and a packed itinerary. Would highly recommend doing the smaller tour group. We had a few miserable Americans who complained every time the world was not revolving around them, but nothing can be done about that!

This was an amazing tour - we loved every minute of it! The scenery was wild and beautiful and sunrise was breathtaking. The tomato farm and Icelandic horse show were interesting and unique, a wonderful lunch stop. We had enough time at each attraction and Omar was both helpful and very knowledgeable, entertaining us with many interesting facts about Iceland. His love for his country is very apparent. Highly recommend this tour - well managed and memorable!

Small group tour which allowed the timing for the day to be a little more flexible. The tour guide provided lots of opportunities to stop and look at the magnificent views of Iceland on route to the locations. His local knowledge was fantastic and very informative. Well worth the time and money would definitely do it again.

We lucked out and got the tour just for us… the guide was informative and made the experience super fun to learn about. The eating of the bread and fresh smoked trout afterwards was so delish!

Really enjoyed trip, totally worth doing. The driver did a brilliant job with the icy & snowy road conditions.
