Nestled on the slopes of Hualalai, Hawaii Island’s third most active volcano, Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation offers tours, tastings, and a gift shop where you can purchase their coffee. Take a guided tour of the plantation and sample some of the different coffees that are produced here. To finish, sip on a local beer, cider, seltzer, or sampling flight from a community and employee-owned brewery. We had the best time in the Big Island with this private tour of the Volcano National Park, Black Sand beach (Punalu'u Beach). Our guide, Rich, took us everywhere in the park, we spent the day doing hikes across the park and learning about the different eruptions of Kilauea Volcano. He was very personal and made sure tour was going according to our desire. My son sat in the front seat and he made sure he learned everything about the park and its surroundings. We are very grateful to Rich for a unforgettable day in the Big Island!
