1. Berlin: Olympic Games 5-Hour Tour by Bus
Climb aboard the comfortable VW bus and discover the exciting and controversial history of the 1936 Olympic Games. The tour starts at Lustgarten by the Berlin Cathedral, where 70,000 people watched the lighting of the Olympic flame. You’ll drive along the “via triumphalis”, a 15-kilometer boulevard, to the northern loop of the AVUS highway. You’ll then follow the 100-kilometer circular route of road race events to the Olympic village in Elstal. Visit the athletes' accommodation and administrative buildings. Here you can join a guided tour of the buildings upon request. You’ll then follow another cycling route to reach the highlight of the tour – the Reich Sports Field. Only a few buildings of this spectacular site were destroyed during the war. Here you can climb to the top of the 77-meter high bell tower and admire the fantastic views of the city.
