Following lunch it is time to ride the Discover KSC Bus Tour. Taking you right up close to the launch pads, this two-hour fully guided bus tour lets you experience the Kennedy Space Center without having walk around and read the exhibits on your own. The tour shows you areas not seen on the regular bus tours, and shows you some of the center's amazing space equipment. The bus tour ends at the Saturn V Center where you get to walk under the Saturn V rocket and touch a piece of moon rock. This is your chance to see the best that Kennedy Space Center has to offer!

We had a great time!

I would not sign up with a tour to NASA again. With all the morning pick ups from many locations you will not get to NASA until after 10 am. Then it can take 3-4 hrs to get back to you original pick up spot. Also on a tour you are limited to their scheduled time. You have to leave at 5:30 and park closes at 7. We didn’t get to do a lot at the park. Very rushed. Got in park rushed to see Atlantis the space shuttle, rushed to have lunch/picture with astronaut, then took tour bus ride to see up close launch pad A and B, where rocket are built, Touch moon rock, and more. Rushed back to purchase pictures we took and with picture with astronaut. Waited 30 min in line to get the astronaut autograph but missed it because we had to catch our bus. We saw a lot but we missed a lot as well. I would go back again but on my own. Takes 1 hr from central Orlando to NASA.

This was a great experience day. I did not get see everything in the museum but got to meet and astronaut, which was a good trade off. He talked about his experiences and answered questions about anything. We also had the opportunity to get a bus tour of the launch part areas and operational buidings. You do not go in these buildings or launch pads but it give you an idea of the overall site and a much closer view. There are opportunities to get out and and take photos.

Very well presented!

The only underwhelming aspect to it was that if you are somewhat versed in NASA history, there is a lot that is not new to you. But judging from the response of people around me, I may be acting curmudgeonly. Go and see for yourself!
