Fireworks Volcano Eruption/Ifestia Festival on the 18th of September When the sun goes down, we will head to the volcano where we will wait for the festival to start from the most breathtaking spot. The fireworks will reach 90 miles in height, taking the place of magma and lava and creating a unique combination of light, sound, and color, turning the night into day. The reenactment of this monumental event serves as a commemoration of how easily everything can be changed by nature. The spectacular show is made by fireworks flying out of the volcano, making it a stunning view. The cruise starts at 5:30 PM; no dinner is included.

Starting by bus with pickup from your selected meeting point, you will arrive at the port of Athinios and board the King Thiras boat. You will then make a first stop at the volcanic island of Nea Kameni. Walking up the soil path, you will approach the crater of this still-active volcano. You will then continue to the second volcanic island named Palea Kameni, and make a stop approximately 50 meters from the hot springs to dive into the green sulfur waters, or simply relax and enjoy the view. Following the hot springs, you will sail to Thirasia Island, another part of Santorini before the eruption of the volcano. Stay in Thirasia for 2-3 hours, where you will have the chance to go swimming, go purchase lunch, or explore the village of Manolas with its winding steps and traditional houses. Leaving Thirasia island, you will head to the port of Athinios. The tour continues with a bus transfer to Oia village for the sunset. Your tour ends 30 minutes after the sunset, at which point you will gather at the pick up point in Oia where your bus will be waiting to take you back to the starting point.

Follow a bumpy trail to an active volcano crater. Then continue your journey to the island of Palea Kameni. The boat will take you within 50 meters of the thermal springs. Swim, splash or relax in the green sulfurous water. Discover the island of Thirasia, once part of Santorini before a volcanic eruption. On the beach you can swim, eat or explore the old village of Manola with its spiral staircases and quaint houses. Find somewhere to enjoy a snack or take a swim on the island's beach. Leaving Thirasia Island, King Thiras will sail under Oia on the way back to Athinios Port, where you can snap some wonderful photos of the cliffs and the breathtaking scenery. The tour continues with a bus transfer to Oia Village for the sunset. The tour ends 30 minutes after the sunset. You will gather at the pickup point in Oia where the bus will be waiting to take you back to the meeting point.

Enjoy breathtaking views across the whole island. The next destination is Pyrgos, the highest village on Santorini, known for its architecture typical of the Cyclades. See Byzantine churches and a Venetian fortress and experience a picturesque view. At Athinios board your boat the 'King Thiras' and ride to the Nea Kameni Volcano. Follow a bumpy trail to an active volcano crater. Back aboard the boat continue your journey and land on the island of Palea Kameni. The boat will take you within 50 meters of the thermal springs. Swim, splash or relax in the green sulfurous water. Get to know the island of Thirasia, once part of Santorini before a volcanic eruption. On the beach you can swim, eat or explore the old village of Manola, with its spiral staircases and quaint houses. Finally the King Thiras takes you to the port of Ammoudi, just below Ia. Walk the 300 steps to reach Ia and be rewarded with one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. About half an hour after sunset your bus returns from Ia to the pick-up location.
