Discovering Ostuni, the "pearl of Puglia", from a different point of view: on board of our eco-friendly "Ape Calessino", among alleys and streets, squares, churches, statues and city gates. A little stop is scheduled at the cathedral of Ostuni in the old town. We will visit the famous Piazza della Libertà with its Sant'Oronzo Column, Arco Scoppa and Tanzarella palace. The white city, hanging between sky and sea, beaches and olive trees, offers picturesque views of alleys, steep stairways, courtyards and little squares overlooked by the typical white houses, decorated with colourful flowers, craft stores, traditionall restaurants and small shops.

Join the owner of the Masseria Capece and enjoy a guided olive oil tour with tasting. Take in the intense scents and colors among the ancient olive trees. Walk among the thousand-year-old olive trees, which are said to have been planted by veterans of the Punic Wars, more than 2000 years ago. Visit the oil mill, built in 1846 and in use until the 60s.  Learn all about how extra virgin olive oil is made and visit the oil mill. Taste some of the oils produced on the farm. We will take you through the organic wine production process. Head to the ancient city of Matera, which is home to movie director Francis Ford Coppola. Matera has been the setting for a number of well-known films. Take some free time for lunch and afterward visit the famous Sassi cave dwellings.
