You will start in the early morning around 08:00 a.m. (in the winter season the pick up might be slightly earlier). The tour begins in the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum: first part lasts about 1,5 hours, you will visit Auschwitz I Museum with certified live guide provided by the museum. You will learn the tragic history of the largest concentration camp in Europe. After short break you will be driven to the Birkenau Museum when you will spend around 1 hour with the same guide. During the second half of your full-day program, you will travel to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, which is one of the oldest working salt mines in the world. Before entering the Salt Mine you will have 1 hour lunch break. The English-speaking tour of the Mine will begin at 16:00 or 17:00 (depending on road conditions). Head 140 meters underground on a 2.5-hour journey along more than 2.5 kilometers of tourist routes and see chambers with amazing carvings and statues, with everything made of salt. You should arrive around 19:30 p.m. to Kraków.

Visit Auschwitz-Birkenau on a day trip departing from Krakow. Explore the history of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp complex on a guided tour with a certified educator, historian, and guide. Auschwitz-Birkenau was founded in 1940 by the Third Reich and was the largest Nazi-run concentration camp. Currently, it is the resting place of millions of people, mainly Jews and Poles, exterminated in the gas chambers. Upon arrival, you will visit the memorial museum in the outskirts of the city of Oświęcim, 60 kilometers west of Krakow. After traveling around an hour and a half, meet your professional guide for an in-depth tour. Walk through the famous "Arbeit macht frei" gate to enter Auschwitz I, where your guide will show you around the originally preserved site and explain the place's touching history. After a short break, visit the second camp at Birkenau where the mass murders took place as part of the Nazi "Final Solution to the Jewish Problem." At Birkenau, you will spend about an hour before meeting your driver for the return journey to Krakow.

Auschwitz-Birkenau tour starts in Kraków. Once we pick up all participants, we head towards Oświęcim, a town located around 60 kilometres from Kraków. The journey takes about 1 hour 10 minutes each way. Our fleet only consists of modern, air-conditioned cars, minivans, minibuses, and buses so the entire trip is stress-free and convenient. On the way we play an introduction movie that helps to prepare for this moving visit. The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour takes approximately 7 hours. The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour is fully safe – Museum and so do we take COVID-19 precautions. Thus, special health and safety measures apply. The tour is an ‘all-inclusive’ service. You are provided with a local guide that will tell you everything about the history of World War II and concentration camps. An experienced museum guide will tell you step by step about the sad fate of the camp victims. First, you visit the Museum in Auschwitz. It takes around 2 hours to get familiar with the history. After two hours, you will have a short break. Then, the group will be transported to Auschwitz II Birkenau (which is also part of the Auschwitz Museum). This part usually takes around one hour. Finally, you will be safely delivered back to Kraków.
