What people are saying about Otago

Fantastic! Absolutely loved it. We booked for the 2 hour Level 1 Beginner climb and did that with Jasmine. Instruction was good and delivered with humour so everyone relaxed. You climb up using the rungs and carabiners and then take a walking route down. When we got to the top of the Level 1 climb, we felt brave enough to carry on and do Level 2 with Georgia (while Jasmine walked back down with the people who chose not to add on Level 2). So glad we did the Level 2. I’m 5’4” and had to stretch a bit for a few of the handholds but nothing to worry about. There were lots of them and well positioned. My hubbie and I are both 65 and of reasonable fitness i.e. we walk 3 miles a few times a week and I do yoga once a week and we were able to do this comfortably so you don’t need to be super fit. Also I can be a bit of a coward with some activities (you would have to kick me screaming and kicking on to a rollercoaster) but felt this was well within my comfort zone. DO IT!!

We ( a couple 60+) recommend this activity highly we had lot of fun Only for people who are NOT afraid of highs !! The clim was very safe but out of the comfort zone The guides were all very nice and helpful. We went up to the second level! Great adventure Wonderful!

I absolutely highly recommend this activity, Sarah was an awesome guide and looked after us, very knowledgeable and professional, We're an older couple and hard no issue climbing, great day with some great memories and pictures

Great tour! It’s very safe and fun. The level of difficulty for level 1 is perfect for beginners. Our guide Connor was super nice! He was very patient and he took some great photos for us!

Awesome to test your nerve climbing the waterfall. All the guides were friendly and safety was paramount. Great experience!
