We arrived a couple of minutes later than our slot and the boat was pulling away but the gentlemen on board swung back and let us on board! The tour was fantastic and full of interesting facts but not full on and loud like others I’ve been on before. It was a gorgeous day and we both enjoyed ourselves. We had the offer of cold drinks when on board and were also allowed to get off at the end to be picked up later on! Truely a lovely experience!

It was a very quiet tour past the university crew boathouses. The captain told many lovely stories about the boats, boathouses, the lock, the pub. His colleague Barbara was very friendly. We had lots of fun. We really enjoyed this fun break in nature.
