We booked this somewhat last minute as we had a change in plans in our UK travels and decided to go up to Cardiff. Great decision! Rikki is very knowledgeable and personable, and clearly loves his country of Wales very much. Beforehand we had no knowledge of the Gowar Peninsula, but every stop was great scenery (we also lucked out on an unusually sunny and warm day) with a goo story or history behind it. You make about 5-6 stops, some quick, some where you walk for 30-45 minutes, and lunch at a pub (not included). I believe we walked about 5-6 miles in total, but my 70 year old parents did it and though they were tired, said it was one of the best tours we’ve been on.

The tour was so well planned. Ricky was excellent about explaining what we were seeing. Also very good storyteller. The scenery is awe inspiring. I had originally wanted another tour but am so glad that this was the one we took. We all enjoyed the day immensely! Would recommend it highly

Be forewarned as it involved a lot of walking, most of it moderately challenging. Varies among gravel, rocky, paved, & dirt paths. Easy to slip & wrench an ankle on loose or protruding stones.

Landscapes of dramatic beauty; excellent guide: knowledgeable, witty, engaging. The good, sunny weather definitely contribuited to the overall positive experience.

Was a full day out with a lot to see - beautiful natural part of the world.
