Viti Levu: River Tubing in Fiji

1. Viti Levu: River Tubing in Fiji

This trip is a good way for you to explore and see more of Fiji. After being picked up from your hotel you will be transferred to Navua where you will board a boat and travel upriver into the Namosi Highlands to witness the beauty of the Fijian interior passing through meandering rapids, passing cascading waterfalls, tropical rainforest, and deep gorge. Enjoy a remote Fijian village and witness life away from the cares of modern living. Go on a walk through the jungle and a plantation then enjoy a swim under a waterfall before eating lunch on the riverside. After lunch, have fun tubing downriver and riding through gentle rapids scattered along the river.

First of all, I cancelled 2 out of the 5. When I called 2 days before event, they said, tell them there. I did and Rosie changed our number to 3. I need to know how we are to receive our refund for two. About the tour, it was fabulous. Ben, our guide was the absolute best guide ever. He was so helpful, friendly, and Informative. Everyone was helpful and friendly. According to others in our group, Ben was great eye candy. We enjoyed touring the village, seeing their home, and learning the experiences of the things that have changed. The cultural lunch was nice and prayer before we ate and prayer before we went tubing were greatly appreciated. The two things we wish we could have known before hand were the length of the drive to get there. Under things to bring, we needed to have listed that women needed to bring a sarong. It would have been nice to know that in the village is no shoes inside, women’s shoulders should not be bare and must wear sarong or skirt to cover knees.

Really enjoyed the river tubing day and definitely worth doing. The views and everything we saw were spectacular. You stop for a swim by a waterfall which is great! It’s quite a drive from Nadi so if you’re coming from there be prepared to spend around 3 hours in the car each way but it was worth it for the activity. The drive itself was great as along the drive is such lovely views of the coast. I found the organisation great by the company.

We really enjoyed the waterfall as well as the tubing. The guides took care of everyone.
