If you are going to take pictures then it's a must do as it's spectacular. But you are quickly ushered through and told where to take pictures from by the guide. My partner was the one taking pictures so it was all rather odd to watch for me. We didn't learn anything about the canyon, so if you are going for that, I'd advise caution.

Our tour guide took his time with each of us in the group. He showed us the correct filter to use for photos on our IPhone and where to stand in order to capture the sun streaming into the canyon. But best of all he offered to take the pictures! He was very knowledgeable with both the historical and geological history Wonderful experience.
