An excellent way to see more of Sicily when on a tight time schedule. There were six people in our mini van thus it was manageable and our guide Marco was able to speak to all of us individually. He is multi-lingual and very knowledgeable. There was plenty of time to see the monuments and there were timely food and comfort stops.

It is a very long bus ride in total but if you're really interested in art and history it is worth it. We stopped at a very nice place for lunch. Roman Villa is absolutely awesome if you are interested in Roman art, culture and history. The Greek ruins are nice and quite vast but they're not nearly as impressive as the acropolis in Athens or even the phrase is from the acropolis in the British museum in London. Several of them are very degraded but if you are not degraded too much.

Departure in time (for me maybe too early) and 2h travelling to Agrigento. The Greek temples are amazing, the guide was prepared just a little slow for me. From here it's a 1.5 hour bus ride to the Roman mosaics, with the option of lunch at a Trattoria beforehand. The place is a real tourist trap, the food is not very good but there is no choice, it is the only restaurant on site. There is a reason why the mosaics of the Roman villa are protected by UNESCO, they are absolutely amazing! There is no guided tour here, it is not included in the price, but before that the guide on the bus gave an exhaustive talk about the mosaics. At the end, a 3.5 hour bus ride to Palermo. A good programme, I recommend it!
