What people are saying about Palm Cove

We had a major issue with the fact that this balloon ride is advertised as 'Port Douglas Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride', when in actual fact it is based in Mareeba and we had to drive from Port Douglas at 3am for one and a half hours to get to Mareeba! This should be stated very clearly at the top of the ad, not in the fine print further down. We had problems trying to change the day for our ride because of the confusion of the departure destination and the fact that we couldn't find a hire car for the date we initially arranged the ride for. In the end, the company allowed us to change our day and we managed to get to Mareeba for our ride. The pilot Frank and his assistants Roy and Tony were outstanding and we felt very safe with them. Our sunrise balloon ride was wonderful with perfect weather, it was a beautiful experience.

It was a 30th Anniversary surprise for my husband. He wasn’t keen to start with but didn’t take him long to love it. It was very peaceful, great commentary and will definitely recommend it to family and friends should they travel to Cairns/Port Douglas. Thank you

It was absolutely fantastic. Bob ,Browny, Brian & Tony. Friendly joking and very professional team . The 18 people in the group were beautiful people. Picked us up at Clifton Beach apartment at the door . Brought us back as well . Just do it .
