Get amazing views of the Atitlan, Toliman and San Pedro volcanoes, as you experience for yourself why the area became such a Mecca for beatniks and bohemian writers such as Aldous Huxley. Tour guide not very knowledgable

The tour it self was nice I wish we ware told more (than information form Wikipedia) about all attractions

Lovely guide, but not much information is provided on culture, history, what we are actually looking at. Guide is just bringing us to a a few pre-arranged places to see and let the people there quickly present their activity. Santiago was a waste of time, but the guide brought us to the best restaurant though. In San Pedro, we just walk up the very steep street to see a church go back down. San Juan was beautiful, it was nice to walk around. I learned about the bees and textile. Chocolate was good. SO absolutely overpriced for this tour. Best to just take the public boat and do yourself I would say (and only to San Juan).
