Panama Evening Food Tour

1. Panama Evening Food Tour

Start your tour at The American Trade Hotel's Café Tiempo. This is an "Ace" located in the World Heritage site of Casco Antiguo on Ave. Central, across the street from the oldest cathedral in Panama City. Stop by Panama's 1st micro-brewery to sample some micro-brews, before walking to the famous seafood market, as seen on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Enjoy amazing views of the city skyline, looking back at the old town and of Cerro Ancon. As the sun sets and temperatures cool off we finish up on the rooftop of one of the most popular rooftop bars in the old town with a sample of the rum made in Panama and the city lights come alive

What people are saying about Panama City

We enjoyed this tour, however there was not much food involved. The ceviche at the Fish Market was outstanding. The other stops had a small taste of local chocolate and coffee, a craft brewery for beer, and a rooftop bar for rum. Jorge, the guide, was okay. He was engaging but spoke too softly in the noisy locations to be heard. He also spent way too much time raving and explaining about the coffee at the first stop. I knew we had these stops, but on other food tours we have taken in different cities more local food was part of the tour even at the alcohol based stops.

Great way to see a few places and try some food/drinks in old town. Would recommend for those who don't know any locals.
