You will get to spend a morning behind the visible part of a bakery, explore the workshop, and discover the various preparation steps that go into baking the fabulous crisp and light baguettes. The tour starts with breakfast at the bakery, where you will get to taste delicious croissants and pain au chocolat. Even the Parisians will be envious of this wonderful experience where you can discover the secrets of making croissants and ask the bakers for all of their kitchen secrets. You will leave at the end of the session with your own freshly-made baguette.

Chef Noémie graduated from the famous Lenôtre Culinary Institute, one of the finest pâtisserie schools in the world, so you’ll definitely be in the right hands to learn the art of making the iconic macaron. During the 2.5-hour activity, you’ll discover the secrets involved in preparing one of the most famous French delicacies. You’ll be guided step by step to create, from scratch, 2 different flavors of macarons, with classical fillings such as chocolate, lemon, salted butter caramel, coffee, pistachio, or walnuts. Whatever your level of cooking experience, your chef is a professional who will adapt the class accordingly. When you’ve finished the class you’ll enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and have a chance to share your impressions with the chef and ask her questions about how to create these successfully at home. Leave with the result of your hard work to show family and friends how you mastered the art of creating French macarons.

In the heart of the Opera district, in a quiet corner of Galeries Lafayette, learn the tricks from a French pastry chef for pulling off perfect macarons. This 1.5-hour class breaks down the process into two stages. Put on your apron to discover the steps of creating the shells and the ganache, the filling and the assembly. The chef uses local organic produce in the recipe to create these delicacies. Choose from timeless tastes to please everyone, including chocolate, pistachio and a selection of other flavors. This class is perfect for families, friends and couples. All equipment is provided and the class is shared with a group of 4 to 18 people. During the class you will make at least 4 macarons to eat on the spot or take away. The chef will give you the recipe so you can recreate them at home. The class will take place in the kitchen of a private apartment, where utensils and equipment will all be available to hand. Classes are made up of 2 to 8 people and groups have the choice of preparing macarons with either of the following flavors: - Chocolate and cocoa - Lemon - Raspberry with tonka bean - Coconut with milk chocolate - Coffee You can of course, take your baked goods home with you and share them with friends or simply enjoy them yourself! A copy of the recipe will also be given to you to keep, so you can recreate these delicious pastries at home.

They will demonstrate and give detailed instructions on how to make macarons using the harder-to-master, but more reliable, Italian meringue technique. Learn to pipe, incorporate a color to your shells, and make a ganache or curd filling. Once done, sit down to a shared teatime of tea, coffee, fruit juices, and some of your creations. This is the time when your host will share the story of the macaron, and a couple of other interesting stories about French culture - often tongue in cheek. Before you depart, you will be loaded with a box of your very own creations, which you can share with your friends and family - or eat yourself over the next few days!

Taking place in the Chef's private apartment in central Paris, the class lasts 2 hrs 15 mins and includes instructions on how to prepare a range of delectable desserts. Ingredients and an apron are all provided for you and you will also be offered a selection of hot drinks. Then take part in a culinary class where you will use your ingredients to cook a full course meal of entrée, main course, and dessert. Take part in an exciting, engaging, and informative cooking class and learn how to cook with fresh, local produce. All levels of cooking experience are welcome, as your experienced chef promises simple recipes which can be remade at home. The course is offered in the morning between 09:15 and 13:45 from Tuesday to Saturday and participants will of course have the opportunity to taste as well as cook!

In this exciting and engaging cooking class, participants will learn how to enhance flavor in fresh, local produce. The chefs will demonstrate their excellent cooking skills gathered from years of experience. Familiar with cooking in restaurants and at home, the chefs will guide and support even participants with little culinary experience – so have no fear! The chef will share simple recipes with you which you can later make at home to impress your friends and family. The course is offered in the morning between 10:45 and 13:45, from Tuesday until Sunday. And, of course, participants will have the opportunity to taste what they cook! Discover some of the secrets to French cuisine at a small group cooking class in Paris. Held in the Latin Quarter, the class is typically limited to between 3 and 7 people to keep things intimate and personal. You wlll be welcomed at 10:30 once your hosts have returned from a local market armed with fresh produce for you to cook. Head to the kitchen and start building a menu based on what ingredients were available. This will include an appetizer, main course, and dessert using classic French techniques, such as ice cream and wine sauce. Learn how to plan a meal, and what can be prepared in advance. In total you will learn about 6-8 different techniques. After about 2 hours of cooking - fortified with a glass of wine or 2 - it’s time to enjoy a delicious meal, paired with red and white wines and generous servings of cheese. Sitting in the beautiful setting, you will be joined by a native Frenchman whose complete mastery of the English language will help him share stories about French food and culture. Lunch typically finishes at around 15:00 - but nobody will be rushing you out the door!
