The tour was a good value for the money; there was a bit of confusion on the departure time; but that may well have been the result of the transit strikes while we were in Paris and the fact that many folks were trying to rebook this event as it was canceled earlier in the week. The guide was terrific for the guided part of the tour - very friendly and inviting of questions plus she provided great information about the Mansion and the period during which Versailles was built. One other minor issue was the guide who rode with us on the bus did not inform ALL of us on the bus where to meet specifically at the end of the tour with regard to where the bus would be located for the return to Paris - again this could well have occurred as a result of all of the tourists that were being accommodated as a result of folks having to rebook this tour due to cancelations earlier in the week. Tour is a good value - I would recommend giving it a try.

We had an amazing time at Versailles. Our guide, Laura, was energetic and knowledgeable. She provided a wonderful tour that kept the group engaged with her. We had more than enough time to explore the palace and gardens on our own as well. An absolute wonderful experience and I definitely recommend booking this tour.

Get Your Guide offers a professional, organized, and efficient means to thoroughly enjoy Versailles. There was absolutely no confusion or chaos. We checked in at the Get Your Guide office on Avenue Suffren by showing the online voucher that had been sent to us. Each individual was checked off as we entered the bus. When we arrived at Versailles, the guide was waiting for us with our tickets. The whole process was streamlined and very efficient. Laura, our guide, was absolutely wonderful, and after the tour, we had some time to explore Versailles. I had an 8:30 meeting time on Avenue de Suffren and after the 90 minute tour, the group waited at the entrance at 1:30 to board the bus back to 62 Avenue de Suffren. Again, before we boarded, our names were checked off. The gardens were closed in March, but there is more than enough to see. I had a hot chocolate, a chocolat chaud, at one of the restaurants in Versailles and it was thick, rich, and spectacular. Well worth the 5.50 euros.
