Full description

Explore a French bakery in Paris and learn about the techniques for making classic French breads. You will be part of a select group to step behind the counter of a typical French boulangerie. In the kitchen you will watch a demonstration by the master baker of how a perfect baguette is made, using techniques that have been passed down through generations. Watch the mixing of the dough, the kneading and shaping, and finally the cooking in special baguette ovens. The baguette is at the heart of French daily life and comes in many forms. The baker has his own special signature baguette, and today all of its secrets will be revealed to you. The text that informs about the activity gives the idea that in addition to a visit, we will participate in the preparation of bread, which does not happen. The visit is very good and informative but the previous information is ambiguous. This is a simple observation visit. The lady who guides the visit and the bakers are very kind and answer all questions.

Great experience!

The tour operator was very accommodating and arranged an earlier time to suit our travel schedule. The guide was fantastic and knew so much about french culture and baking. Also, the baker himself was wonderful and so friendly; when my children expressed an interest he let them participate in some of the processes. Definitely a highlight from our trip to Paris!

Great Start To A Day

This is a must do. Not only do you learn about the science of French baking, and it is a science. You get to see what is put into all those beautiful pastries, the differences in baguettes and the real secret behind the authentic french croissant, Then you get to sample a variety of little cakes and sent home with a goodie bag!!! The guide for our tour was not only super knowledgeable, but friendly and helpful. Pick the early morning tour for it a perfect way to start a day of touring
