After meeting your expert chef and classmates, you'll get started learning the secrets of French pastry in the well-equipped Ferrandi Kitchen at Galeries Lafayette La Maison & Le Gourmet. You have two class options to choose from: Tarte Tatin or Paris-Brest, and you can learn in either English or French. Taste Tatin is a pastry made with caramelized fruit and then baked to perfection. Paris-Brest is confection made of choux pastry and praline-flavored cream. The interactive baking portion of your class will take about 1.5 hours. Once your handiwork is finished, you'll spend the last half hour savoring your delectable creations. Don't forget to take your recipe with you at the end of the class, so you can show off your new pastry skills to your friends and family at home.
