Full description
Make the most of your time in Paris and beat the crowds with skip-the-line access to the Louvre; the world's biggest museum. On your 3-hour personalized tour, your guide will ensure your day at the Louvre is informative and efficient as you are led through a museum that would normally take weeks to cover. The Louvre is so big that Louis XIV used to ride his horse up and down the Louvre's corridors! Learn about the history of the museum and, of course, the world-famous art on its walls including Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Canova's Psyche and Cupid. Travel through time and look at art and artifacts dating from 450 B.C. right through to the 19th century. Begin with the medieval foundations of the former royal residence, admire one the world’s most celebrated sculptures, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and see the royal crowns of Napoleon and King Louis XV.

The Louvre can hardly be fully experienced in a single day. But if you want to get a well-founded insight in just under three hours, then this tour is highly recommended. You're particularly lucky when Thierry is the guide - he literally sparkles with enthusiasm for the Louvre, has incredible knowledge of its treasures and knows how to provide profound information as well as entertainingly and entertainingly. A must for anyone wanting to make the most of their short time at the Louvre!

We had booked a Louvre tour in German. But unfortunately the tour took place in English. The guide apologized for the circumstance and added that this often happened, but unfortunately he could not speak German. Well, we were fortunate enough to be able to understand English and follow the content, but that won't always be the case and then all that money would have been thrown out the window. Overall, I was happy with the experience. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that we wasted about 20 mins of our trip waiting in the Mona Lisa line. If it's a busy day, the tour should end at the Mona Lisa so you don't spend 20 minutes of the tour just standing in line. Our guide did her best to still talk to us as best as she could, but it would be much better to finish the tour and then send us off to do the line on our own time.
