In the recently renovated Pavillon Dufour, ore offers the great French classics, light bites and delicate pastries. Located at the first floor of Pavillon Dufour, the restaurant plan is divided into two main dining rooms, one bar and three salons. One can admire the Palace through the windows overlooking the cour Royale and the cour d’Honneur. In the salons, the subtle position of the mirrors allows the guests to look upon the Palace, even if their back is turned to the windows. Ore - Ducasse au château de Versailles offers contemporary French cuisine and artfully combining great classics and new dishes. Service is relaxed, professional and efficient. Excellent breakfast and queue skipping

Delicious breakfast in the beautiful Ore restaurant, including fluffy pastries and the most delicious scrambled eggs I’ve had in a long time. They provided a high chair for our one-year-old daughter, which was very helpful. After we’d finished we were ushered into Versailles directly from the restaurant, skipping not only the huge main queue but also the skip-the-line queue. The Palace, gardens and Hamlet are exquisite. Highly recommend this way of starting your day there.

Romantic, but with a few problems

It looked like everything was going to be beautiful: breakfast in Versailles and then no-line entrance. But it was not like that. Even the coffee part was going well. When it came time to skip the line, we had to fight with the receptionist who sent us to the wrong place. Also, the ticket did not give access to the garden!!! We had to go around town to get to Petit Trianon.
