Good organised trip and nice guides. I can fully recommend the cave and hike tour. After and between the activities you got some spare time to explore the island. If you plan to hike the "smaller" way near the town, be careful, the seagulls are a little aggressive, due to the fact that their eggs are pretty close to the path. And the small path takes around 25 to 30 minutes, don't think you will make it fast, it's a long way

Activity to do in Péniche. We highly recommend. This was a very popular excursion with our group. Zodiac took us to the islands, highlight of our trip to Portugal!! Then, on the islands we were able to do a short hike and visit the fortress. To have known that we could sleep there, I would have done it, but we could not know how to book, it is not written anywhere!! We had a high tea on the islands, surprised they take credit card and the burger and fries were excellent. Do not hesitate to take this excursion.

The boat trip was really exciting, as we sped across the big waves. The island was beautiful and very interesting to learn about from the guides. All of the staff were fun, efficient and knowledgable. I felt safe the entire time we spent on the boat and would highly recommend Feeling Berlenga to others. We travelled in early April, so the full facilities of the island weren’t open yet. That didn’t deter us, as the company pre-empted this by telling us to bring food with us. In fact, we were extremely lucky to travel when we did, as the trip had to be rescheduled once due to unpredictable April weather. The pay-off was that carpet of wild spring flowers covered the island, which made the air smell sweet. Our guide told us that these will be mostly scorched away by the height of the tourist season in July.
