Overall, it was an enjoyable & educational experience whether as a tourist or a Philadelphia resident. As a Philadelphia resident, and also the reason why I didn't rate "excellent", I was discouraged by negative/insensitive comments made by the tourgide (only able to be identified by his birthdate 9/11, recently turning 59) referencing "Indians", Philadelphia neighborhoods Port Richmond/Kensington and Camden NJ as being places you shouldn't go into, and over emphasizing/encouraging everyone to leave a tip when exiting-to be shared by himself & the driver, and how tips represents 50% of their salaries. Additionally, the tour routes should be maintained routinely by pruning all "low-hanging" tree branches. BEWARE OF DOUBLE-DECKER SEATS ON RIGHT SIDE OF BUSES!!!

Our guide, Truman was outstanding! I am a PA native and a history lover; notably the civil war. I have been to Gettysburg many times and have had numerous guided tours. I have never been disappointed, but our guide Truman made the battlefield tour come to life! Not only was he very knowledgeable about the battles, his attention to detail provided the best understanding I’ve experienced as to the movement and orientation of each day’s battles. His enthusiasm also made the guided tour a most memorable one, that I would highly recommend.

Truman was our guide and he was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable that hubby and I were on "information overload"!! Lol! The tour lasted close to 2.5 hours because Truman, hubby and I ended the tour just chatting about the Battle. Be forewarned though, that because of COVID he wasn't able to ride/drive in our car. He led us in his car and we connected via cellphone speakerphone. My car is equipped with a hand free system so it was like listening to the radio tutorial, so it worked out just fine. Hubby was a little distracted from listening to Truman because he had to focus on driving. If it wasn't for hubby having to drive, the experience would have been perfect!!!

Loved this tour! This is the best way to discover so much of Philadelphia. The tour guide (Jim) was so great and I am glad we took his advice to do the entire tour before deciding which stops to make. The flexibility of the schedule and stops were perfect! Great way to get around town. Note - Mario was helpful, too. Thank you all!
