Bidor Heritage Walk and Eat

8. Bidor Heritage Walk and Eat

We start the morning from a bus station in Kuala Lumpur, make the journey to Bidor, a former Communist outpost in the state of Perak. Get down in Bidor town, walk the heritage building street. Meet my cousin SK Khong, a former resident of San Francisco and Wisconsin now back to managing his family business. We get to have a hearty breakfast with him and his Wisconsin born wife Phyliss. We proceed for a short tour around Bidor town before moving to the noodles and biscuit factory. Upon completion we head back to Pun Chun restaurant attic level for feast of history, culture and more cuisine. Browse the biscuits and confectionery section before heading out for a van ride with my distant relative Mr Chan. My great grandmother was a Japanese geisha who saved this town from being destroyed by the Japanese Imperial Army. We head back to Pun chun for tea time before boarding the bus back to KL city.

Nice trip, nice guide - pleasant in communication plus good driver. We enjoyed the trip especially tea plantation, but maybe it’s still a bit overpriced (we were in 3 people, so some discount if there’re several people would be great). I believe you can save some money by organizing everything by yourself but we were too lazy to do that, so this trip is good option if you don’t wanna stress out about anything and have limited time for staying in Malaysia

The best day trip ever, we really enjoyed everything and the Mr. Matheo is fantastic, calm, knowledgeable.... All the places we visit is a breathtaking..... If anyone will visit Kuala Lumpur this trip you should to try and it let's you to see Malaysia in different taste... Many thanks

Fabulous. The highlight of the trip is the tea plantation, but the strawberry pickup and the lunch at the gorgeous golf course resort were great as well. The driver did a great safe job, while the guide staged the trip fantastically. 12 hrs sharp and we were back at the hotel.

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was really knowledgeable and engaging

Excellent guide, great knowledge and a very enjoyable day
