Full description

Enjoy a full-day adventure to Rottnest Island from Perth or Fremantle with ferry transfers, a 1.5-hour adventure boat tour, and free time to explore.

When booking, select your ferry departure location, either Perth or Fremantle. From Perth, you’ll enjoy a scenic 1-hour cruise with live commentary along the Swan River to Fremantle before heading to the island.

Alternatively, join the ferry at Fremantle for just the 25-minute ride to Rottnest Island. Then embark on a 1.5-hour wildlife thrill ride aboard a purpose-built, high-powered vessel for the adventure of a lifetime.

This is the ultimate natural Rottnest adventure, with adaptive real-time commentary. Your guides are motivated and passionate about the island and feel privileged to be able to showcase this side of Rottnest. Circumnavigate Rottnest Island, weather permitting.

Experience an unforgettable, entertaining, and informative tour. The waters off Rottnest Island are teeming with wildlife, including majestic humpback whales who visit the area from September-November. Watch the delightful antics of the New Zealand fur seal colony out at Cathedral Rocks.

After your tour, have free time on the island to explore independently. You could perhaps rent a bike (at your own cost) or go swimming off one of the white-sand beaches before catching the return ferry back to Perth or Fremantle.

The cruise was great, great tour guides, so much fun absolutely loved it and Rottnest island is paradise. However get your guide didn’t provide much information, you have to get your tickets on arrival from a seperate ticketing station with your qr code, you arnt given information on where to meet the cruise on the island either. Would 100% do it again but made it a lot harder running around getting tickets and information from different locations on the jetty and island

We went on a rainy and very windy day and figured we were going to get wet anyway! The boat ride was lots of fun and it was nice to pull in close to each bay and learn about sea lions, sea grass and shipwrecks. Just a note - go to the office in front of the sheds to exchange your 'coupon' for actual tickets. Also you are lining up for the red/fast ferry and catching the adventure boat from Rottnest Island. Then ferry back. Our times were 9.30 red ferry, 11.30 adventure ride, 4.30 red ferry (from Freemantle).

A fun way to go around Rottnest Island within 90-min. Totally enjoyed the experience. We were lucky enough to see a school of dolphins swimming right beside us. The operator is thoughtful to hv seatbelts & long jackets provided as it could be cold & wet without those jackets.
