Full description
Following pick-up from Perth, head to Caversham Wildlife Park in the Swan Valley to admire koalas and wombats and hand feed kangaroos. Travel along quiet back roads to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes. Here, enjoy a behind-the-scenes factory tour on the processing of Western Australia rock lobster followed by a fish and chips lunch. Next, head to the mystical Pinnacles Desert for an easy walk through the fascinating landscape. Drive over the vast sand dunes of Lancelin in a custom-built 4WD vehicle before trying some downhill sandboarding. After the tour, drive down the Indian Ocean Drive to arrive back to Perth for drop-off.

  • While infants 0 to 3 are free when travelling with an adult, they must not occupy a seat and do not receive meals on the tour
  • Infants are not permitted on the 4WD part of this tour and will need a parent to stay with the infant during this time
  • The adventure part of the tour will always operate in a 4WD vehicle
  • This tour may also operate within a coach depending on passenger numbers
  • Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat and your camera

I agree with the Germans. Everything was great but the lobsters activity was pointless. Just give us more time at the wildlife center. It was so rushed! If you love animals you’ll feel a bit sad like me that you only get to see some and basically you take a picture and keep moving. You can’t enjoy it. I think you could spend all day there on a separate day. But I did enjoy everything else! I don’t even like fish but the fish for lunch was so fresh it wasn’t fishy at all. It was good. The other things were fun and interesting.

Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt und sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Führung im Hummerfischdorf Cervantes war sehr interessant. Das anschließende inkludierte Mittagessen mit Fisch und Chips war der beste Fisch, den ich je gegessen hatte. Die Tour durch die Sanddünen hat viel Spaß gemacht. Das anschließende Sandbording mit einem Surfbrett hat unseren Kindern sehr viel Gaudy bereitet. Am besten eine Brille aufsetzen, wir hatten Wind und das war nicht so angenehm für die Augen. Ansonsten eine gelungene Tour, jederzeit wieder. Danke für diesen schönen Tag.

Esperienza molto interessante. Purtroppo le cose da fare sono molte e non si ha molto tempo per fare tutto. La visita al Caversham é di soli 45 minuti e si vedono solo 3 animali (canguri, koala e wombat) al deserto dei Pinnacoli si sta solo 1 ora (anche se più che sufficiente). La maggior parte del tempo si sta in autobus, causa le grandi distanze da percorrere.
