    Full description

    Begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Amman and head off on the 225-kilometer journey to the ancient city of Petra. Upon arrival, take a stroll through Al-Siq, a narrow and deep pathway that acts as the main entrance into Petra.

    Inside, admire the Al-Khazneh, where elegant remains of antiquity can be found carved deep into the rocks. See the monastery, Altar of Sacrifice, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, and more. After soaking up all the sights, continue the tour towards Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of the Moon.

    Next, head to Wadi Rum, the filming location of blockbuster movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. Allow yourself to be transported into this other-worldly landscape. Embark on an adventurous 4x4 safari ride through the desert and visit several sites including Nabatean Temple.

    Later, stop at a picturesque Bedouin for a refreshing cup of Arabic tea or coffee and the opportunity to mingle with the locals. Finally, gaze upon a breathtaking sunset across the silky desert plains before beginning the return journey to Amman.

    I did this tour with three colleagues and we had a great time. Everything was a positive. Communication was good, everything was right on time. The only thing that surprised me a little was that our driver was not a guide. I thought he would escort us into Petra and give us the background. We did have a different guide to take us into Wadi Rum. He did an excellent job. We enjoyed the tour!

    Yuones was our driver for the day.We started at around 09:30 am.Our pickup time was 09:00 but since we were travelling with baby,we got late during breakfast and he patiently waited for us at hotel.We reached Petra around 11:50 AM and we were supposed to comeback by 03:00 PM.We started for Wadi Rum around 03:30 PM (after picking up a Pizza) which delayed us further and Yuones drove at an amazing pace (with safety) and reached Wadi Rum at 04:40 (ideal travel time is 1.5 hrs for this journey).We had good sunset view at WadiRum on the Jeep ride.After that we started from Wadi Rum around 06:15 PM and reached hotel safely around 09:00 PM. In between Yuones played “CocoMelon” on Youtube for my 1.5 yr old son and he absolutely loved it.He also took us to a souvenir shop from where we bought some stuff for family.Yuones js an amazing driver and a great guy to talk to.On my final day in Jordan he even arranged a Airport drop seperately for us through R&H Vip Transport company.

    Fantastic day, our driver was friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips and advice for when in Petra. Our guide when in Wadi Rum was also great, as a local Bedouin he had loads of knowledge of the desert and took us to see some amazing sights. Overall an experience I will remember forever. 5 stars
