Full description

Your Philadelphia food tasting tour begins at a restaurant across the street from the iconic Independence Hall. Start off with some hearty veggie-based apps accompanied by a deliciously light cider, just like the colonials would have liked, but with modern cooking techniques and rich flavors.

From here, stroll through the picturesque streets of Philadelphia’s old colonial neighborhoods and see a selection of the city’s most historic landmarks. Arrive at the second stop of the day, one of the city’s oldest restaurants bursting with authentic American charm. Dine on a modernized colonial dish, washed down with a smooth and strong cocktail. At the next stop, enjoy some traditional Pennsylvanian beer with another colonial-based dish before finally heading to America’s oldest confectionery store for a real sweet treat! The tour is a unique way to learn about Philadelphia’s colorful history, whilst making the most of happy hour. The walking tour combines visits to countless must-see sights, as well as off-the-beaten-path locations that you won’t find in traditional tourist books. Be sure to arrive on an empty belly, so you can have your fill of traditional dishes and boozy beverages.
