It was great. Our guide, Frank Zelle was truly excellent, and it was obvious that he enjoyed Grand Canyon and the sights as much as we did. His enthusiasm was infectious. He pointed out interesting sights on the drive up, and on the drive back also. The drive down to Sedona was truly awesome, and Sedona was excellent.

Our guide Eric was outstanding! He was well versed in the area, it’s settlement and geological history, the native plants, etc. But he also knew how not to overburden us with facts and let us enjoy the amazing views. His timing was excellent in giving “rest” stops and souvenir shopping. The places we stopped for meals allowed for a variety in tastes and adequate time to eat. We even arrived at just the right place to have great views of a sunset. Though a long day if your time is limited I highly recommend this tour! The sights of the Great Canyon were amazing and I loved Senora and area around it.

Brian was a great guide and made the trip fun! It is definitely a trip worth doing with a guide. There is knowledge and experience that you just won’t get going on your own. Some things to know: be prepared for a long day, be prepared to any kind of weather (it rained at the Grand Canyon but thankfully Brian had umbrellas ) and it was a bit cold, drinks are provided but bring your own food/snacks/drinks if you are a snacker. There are plenty of stops but just be prepared. Another great thing about the trip is that you never feel rushed - you will have plenty of time at each stop for pictures and bathroom breaks. Great stops for lunch and dinner. You can also charge your phone on the van. Just bring your cord to connect to charger. Overall great trip and experience and I would do it again.
