Guided tour of Pompeii was exceptionally interesting, and most informative. Sassa spoke excellent English and brought the fascinating story of Vesuvius' earthquake and the volcanic eruption to life. We walked a considerable distance, well worthwhile in order get to the new section where archeologists; who worked throughout Covid lockdowns; recently uncovered exquisite artwork, floor mosaics and wall murals. Astonishing stuff! It was well worth driving across Italy from coast to coast to get to Ercolano for this experience. Delighted to share that we were apparently the first South Africans to visit Pompeii post 2020. Don't miss this marvelous tour!

Daniela was the most wonderful guide - incredibly knowledgeable as an archaeologist she knew everything there was to know about Pompeii and answered everyone’s questions. Even when she was being asked the same ones repeatedly! Friendly, helpful and funny, she was very engaging to listen to. Myself and my friend, Julia, absolutely loved the tour. Thanks Daniela!!

Having been to Pompeii once before, I was not expecting to be as impressed as I was by this tour. It was only two hours, but out tour guide spoke so quickly (but with perfect clarity) that I feel like we got 4+ hours of information! These are professionals, I highly recommend!

Loved the tour. Take plenty water as if it’s a really hot day and it’s likely to be, you will need it.
