Level 2 (Intermediate): A Canyoning for those who really want to be part of the sport. Long abseils up to 22m, steep slides, and high jumps over 7m. Essential training on the way down when needed.

Private transportation delivers you to the mountain where you’ll begin your ascent stopping for breaks as needed. At the summit at 9,600 ft (2918 m), enjoy exceptional views and sign the mountaineer’s book. After the descent, unwind as arranged transportation takes you back to town. We have our meeting from 08:00 to start our tour towards Mount Olympus. We will reach the maximum point of the route from the south side of Mount Olympus in charming other and simultaneously rugged landscape to 2,400m in position Christakis. There we will rest and prepare our personal and climbing equipment for the summit of Mytikas. We follow a well-marked trail for one hour to position Skala where we will get ready for our final ascent. The route is demanding and has a high degree of difficulty since in most parts we must climb. Reaching the top of ”Pantheon” Mytikas at 2918m we will sign the mountaineer’s book and will rest for our return.

Board a train in Katerini at 8.55 AM. Pass by the unique landscape as it alternates between mountains and sea. The route crosses by the foot of the mythical Mt Olympus, where in ancient times it was believed to be the residence of the 12 Gods. Next, it leads you to Palaeofarsalos train station. There you will have to change train and wait 1 hour till you board the train that leads to Kalampaka(#882). Here in the greater surrounding area, lies the home of the ancient tribe of Mirmidones, a group of legendary ancient warriors who had the mythical Achilles as their leader, who played an important role in the outcome of the Trojan War. Arrive by approximately 12:05 PM in Kalambaka where a guide will be holding a signboard to welcome you and start the tour. Climb aboard a luxury minibus then sit, relax and enjoy the unique landscape as you set off to explore the Meteora Monasteries. Admire the amazing Christian architecture, and discover how monasteries have been influenced over time, having existed for over 700 years.
