  • Seville: 3–Hour Historical Tour

    8. Seville: 3–Hour Historical Tour

Seville has been one of the most important cities in Spain since ancient times; the first settlers of the site have been identified with the Tartessian culture. The destruction of their settlement is attributed to the Carthaginians, giving way to the emergence of the Roman city of Hispalis, built very near the Roman colony of Itálica. At the time of the Almoravids, Seville was the best walled city in Europe. Following the riots of 1868 the revolutionaries toppled many of those walls, leaving sections of Macarena, Puerta de Córdoba and Alcázar. On this route, discover the doors of Seville, where carriages were stopped, mysteries unravelled,  stories unfolded; and take a cycling tour of the historic area, seeing the defensive route of the old Seville. Puerta Carmona, Puerta Osario, Puerta Triana - see them all, stopping at each one.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva

We loved the experience. The guide told us very cool stories that put us fully into the environment of navigation. He even left the helm to our young son to captain the ship himself. The tapas consisted of a place of Iberian ham, olives and chips, accompanied by a soft drink or beer of your choice.

Our experience was very positive, the guide helped us to breathe the atmosphere of the square. The museum was very fascinating and we discovered particular curiosities that enriched our knowledge. Although the guide explained in Spanish and English, as Italians we managed to get the best of it.

A very relaxing experience with wonderful views. An activity different from the usual way of visiting the city. Simply lovely. Also very good treatment and quite comfortable everything.

Guide is super friendly and very informed. Great to hear the history and context of bull fighting!
