You will admire a glorious sunrise from 1592 meters above sea level. The faint glow of the sun will slowly illuminate the peaks in a medley of colors, offering a truly inspiring scene.   After tea or coffee in a small tea house in Sarangkot, you will start the journey back to Pokhara. Enjoy a scenic drive through small villages, winding dirt trails and lush forests. Once back in Pokhara, visit Bindhya Basini Temple, the most sacred temple in Pokhara, built during the 17th century. Wake up early morning and meet your guide at your hotel lobby in Pokhara. Drive in a private vehicle for around 45-60 minutes to Sarangkot. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view over the Himalayas, Pokhara Valley, and Phewa Lake from Sarangkot. You can also choose to book a 30-minute paragliding session at Sarangkot. This is a renowned paragliding spot, overlooking the Pokhara valley with panoramic mountain views from 8,000 meters. After the glorious views from Sararangkot, drive back to Pokhara for a break. Continue with a Pokhara city tour and visit both natural and religious sites. See Devi's Falls and its tunnel, which is approximately 500 feet (150 m) long and runs 100 feet (30 m) below ground level. See traditional Nepali houses nearby as well as a series of statues of Nepali figures. Visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a beautiful cave opposite Devi's Falls. A giant stalagmite within this case is honored as a Shiva lingam and is used for prayers. Venture out on a boat and go to the Barahi Temple, built in the middle of Phewa Lake with its two-storied pagoda. Move on to the World Peace Pagoda and enjoy the spectacular view of the mountain, Phewa Lake, and the city and its surroundings. Return back to enjoy the evening’s serenity of the lakeside. You will also visit Bindhya Basini Temple, the most sacred temple in Pokhara city, as well as the International Mountain Museum, which chronicles the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general. Finish your tour with a convenient drop-off service back to your hotel.

4. Ghandruk: 3-Day Loop Trek from Pokhara

Get a taste of the Himalayas in this 3-day trek through dense green forest and paddy fields. With the help of an expert guide, learn the traditions of the local people as well as the history of the Annapurna region.     Day 1: Pokhara to Ghandruk (1540m) 5-6 hours hike.  The day starts with hotel pickup and a 1.5-hour drive to Nayapul. From Nayapul trek up to Ghandruk, enjoying the dense green forest along the way. Once in Ghandruk, visit the Gurung museum to learn the history of the region and the traditions of the Gurung community. Spot the nearby peaks such as Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna II, Hinuchuli, and Fishtail. Overnight in lodge.   Day 2: Gandruk to Pothana (2870m) 5-6 hours hike. Wake up early to witness the first rays of sun over the Himalayas. After breakfast, descend down to Modi Khola then climb up to Landruk village. Pass through paddy fields and walk past the village of Deurali before reaching the overnight lodge in Pothana. Day 3: Pothana to Pokhara, 3-4 hours hike. Spend the morning exploring Pothana and take in great views of Annapurna Massif, Fishtail, and other mountains. The trek then begins to Phedi, where the coach will be waiting to return the group to Pokhara.

5. From Kathmandu: 11-Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek

This 11-day Annapurna Base Camp experience offers a shorter trekking trip for those time-pressed travelers.  • Day one: Arrival in Kathmandu (4,264 feet) Take in an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu. At the airport, you will be welcomed by a local representative. In the evening, settle in for some authentic Nepalese cuisine, an excellent introduction to the country’s food and culture. Stay overnight in Kathmandu. • Day two: 30-minute flight to Pokhara (2,700 feet), trek to Ghandruk (6,360 feet) in 5-6 hours  Take a flight to Pokhara. The right side of the plane will offer the best views of The Himalayas. Local representatives will pick you up at the Pokhara airport. Take a one hour and 20-minute drive to Nayapul (new bridge) on the main road near Birethanti and begin your trek. From Birethanti, trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. If time permits, you can visit the Gurung museum. Overnight in Ghandruk. • Day three: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (7,120 feet), 5–6 hours • Day four: Chhomrong to Bamboo (7,578 feet), 4-5 hours • Day five: Bamboo to Deurali (10,595 feet), 3-4 hours • Day six: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (13,545 feet) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (1,2135 feet), 5–6 hours • Day seven: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo, 7-8 hours • Day eight: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (5,770 feet), 5–6 hours • Day nine: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara, 6-hour trek, 1-hour drive • Day ten: Fly to Kathmandu Fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. In Kathmandu, you may spend the day exploring or shopping for souvenirs, lovely pashminas, or intricate art work. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu. • Day eleven: Final departure, home sweet home  Local representatives will transport you to the meeting point or your hotel in Thamel to conclude the tour.
