Day 2: Port Arthur Your Port Arthur tour is a direct bus to the historical site where you will have 4 hours to explore the site at your own leisure. Your guides recommend taking the free introductory walking tour and the harbor cruise, both of which are included in the site admission fee. This 7-hour tour departs Hobart at 10:30AM, arriving at 12:00PM to the main entrance of the Port Arthur Historic Site. Following your 4-hour tour, depart from the main entrance at 4:00PM before arriving back in Hobart at around 5:30PM.

Port Arthur was wonderful. We did the guided tour and our guide really brought the area to life. We also did the tour of the Island of the Dead. Well worth the money and the effort. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the island was so peaceful.

Great day out - Colin, our bus driver was fantastic, very accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this trip. We did the Island of the Dead, well worth the extra money for this, Rob our tour guide was one of the best I have come across.

The bus picked us up on time and drove to Richmond for a coffee and snacks.The whole journey,Garth gave a very interesting talk about the landscape and the history. Port Arthur wonderful,despite the weather. I would highly recommend this tour.
