Be amazed at the huge diversity you will encounter, you will discover everything from low-lying ferns and shrubs, to the massive rainforest canopy and even mangrove ecosystems - all in one short easy walk. You can choose to taste locally made ice cream, at your own cost, and prepare for a photo opportunity at the Alexandra Range Lookout, which provides sweeping views over the Daintree River, its rainforest delta, and out to the Coral Sea. In the afternoon, experience a wildlife cruise on the river (if option selected). During the cruise, you may see a crocodile, while learning about the fragile ecosystem of this impressive serpent-like river system. What people are saying about Port Douglas

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The driver and guide (Lisa) for my tour is most friendly, approachable, knowlegable, and professional. She promptly drove the bus to our hotel for the morning pickup - and she gave excellent commentary during the trip. The activities are very enjoyable and well-organised. This included the wildlife habitat visit (with included morning tea), guided rainforest leisure walk, included lunch at a nice safe water-hole, included local ice-cream eating at an ice-creamery, and hour-long Daintree boat ride - where we actually spotted small crocodiles in their natural habitat in the Daintree river. We were well looked after. And the food/lunch was excellent.

Amazing tour. Tom was our guide for the day - very knowledgeable of the area. He was very happy to share his knowledge of the area and showed us everything in the area even down to the small little peppermint stick insect. He was very respectful to all on the tour. Great Ambassador of Cairns. Tour was well paced and never felt rushed - it was more important to him to show us everything in the area. We had the Falafel for lunch and it was excellent. Came home with a new admiration of the area and appreciation of preserving nature.
